Co-founder & CEO, Beton Alwattania Group

Mr. Dia Ismail holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the Lebanese American University.

He is the co-founder and CEO of Beton Alwattania Group, established in 2003, which specializes in concrete, prefabricated and ready-mix concrete products and has four branches in Aleppo Governorate.

He is also the founding partner and CEO of Ismail Trading & Contracting Company, which specializes in general contracting, general trade and project rehabilitation with United Nations agencies and international organizations.

In addition, he is a partner and CEO of Mohamed Hisham Ismail & Partners Company, established in 1970, which specializes in general construction and holds a top-tier classification with the Contractors Syndicate. He is also a partner in the Syrian Company for Hotels and Tourism Services, owner of the Pullman Al Shahba Hotel in Aleppo.

In 2010, his companies were named Best Concrete Company and Best Contracting Company in Syria by a specialized British magazine.

He is a member of the Syrian Canadian Business Association (SYCAB).
